6 hours counseling/Social Work CEUs available!

Boring, predictable, and outdated. That’s how people describe the behavioral trainings and workshops they attend year after year. Most behavioral trainings are the same old thing: not applicable to all students, not interesting, or just someone with no clue telling you that what you are doing is wrong.

Are you looking for something different? If so, we have the answer! Classroom Behavior: What’s the Function realizes that students are different these days, and no pre-packaged discipline programs work for all children in all situations. This workshop will look at what is going on with students TODAY, and address issues that are relevant to you, in this day and age, not what behavior looked like 20-30 years ago.

Psychology 101. It’s not something we think about too often anymore. With all of the new gimmicks and “change behavior in 10 minutes” plans that are on the market, we tend to forget about what years and years of research and practice have taught us about behavior. Classroom Behavior: What’s the Function will take what is known from the behavioral experts and apply it to what is going on in your schools and classrooms. Most importantly, this workshop will give you the tools you need to go back to your students and develop your own classroom techniques and methods that suit your personality. After all, who else knows your students better than you do?

Show n’ Tell, it’s not something professionals take part in anymore, but it’s something that is extremely valuable. This workshop will build in time to share your awesome techniques, gadgets, or technology with others, and give you an opportunity to learn from what others use that is effective. We will also look at new, cutting edge items that are on the market today that will enhance or add to your classroom when working with behavior. More than likely no other workshop you will go to this year will have such a unique time of networking and learning!

Perfect for Response to Intervention, regular, and special education students!
