Event Details

(1953, 118 minutes, black & white) Directed by William Wyler. Princess Ann (Audrey Hepburn) embarks on a highly publicized tour of European capitals. When she and her royal entourage arrive in Rome, she begins to rebel against her restricted, regimented schedule. To escape her royal existence, she sneaks out and finds herself disoriented, lost and alone on a park bench. She is soon taken under the wing of Joe Bradley (Gregory Peck), an American newspaper reporter stationed in Rome. She thinks her identity is safe but Bradley is on to her — and senses a sensational story if he can just keep her handlers from retrieving her too quickly. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0046250/
