Getting to know a tree means more than simply knowing its name. What are its outstanding characteristics year-round? What are its limitations or tolerances in urban conditions and societal contexts? This course is geared toward Citizen Foresters, Project Organizers and others interested in building confidence in tree identification and selecting the right tree for the right place. Classroom and field sessions will be combined.
