Introductions Please be prepared to talk briefly about by-products or wastes you would like to find a home for, and show and tell about sample materials.  

 

Short Presentations

James Kinen, TetraPak Connected with a privately held corporation launched in Sweden in 1952, TetraPak employs 22,000 people worldwide. The Vancouver facility produces gable-top packages for milk, juice and other liquid and food products and set a record in 2011, selling 1.3 billion liters of packaging. The company is working steadily towards reducing its carbon footprint to help the planet as well as to further drive costs down.

James will talk about TetraPak's extensive efforts at creating a waste free facility as well as by-products might be of interest to trading partners.

 

Doug Moody, WaferTech Founded as a U.S. limited liability company in June 1996, WaferTech was the first dedicated semiconductor contract manufacturer, also known as a pure-play foundry, in the United States. WaferTech is solely committed to manufacturing our customer's integrated circuits (ICs), also known as "computer chips." WaferTech is located on 260 acres in Camas, Washington, in a 1-million-square-foot fabrication complex.

No stranger to by-product exchange, Doug will present WaferTech's Case Study about how they have partnered to find secondary users for their mateials
