We look forward to seeing you at the first Clackamas County ResourceFULL USE workshop!

 

When: Thursday February 21st, 2013 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Optional Tour of Exceed facility 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Coffee and Bob's Red Mill Goodies! Provided by Exceed Enterprises

Introductions Please be prepared to talk briefly about by-products or wastes you would like to find a home for, and show and tell about sample materials.  

Short Presentations

David Weiss, Business Finance Officer, Business Oregon will discuss the department's loan, loan guarantee and tax-exempt bond programs for financing capital investments related to reducing and reusing waste in your busines.

Jim Nelson, Supplier Development Leader, PCC Structurals Division will tell PCC's story of how they were able to establish successful by-product exchanges with ResourceFULL Use members.

Precision Castparts is the world leader in structural investment castings, forged components, airfoil castings for aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. Airbus, Boeing, GE, Rolls-Royce, and many other leading manufacturers depend on them for critical airframe, engine, power generation, and general industrial components. With few exceptions, every aircraft in the sky flies with parts made by PCC.

Resource *Speed Dating*  Fast paced and fun exchange among participants about materials you have or need. Expect to discover interesting exchange or pollution prevention ideas!

You will be able to add your materials to the Materials Available/Wanted list.

The Columbia Corridor stretches along the south shore of the Columbia River, from the Willamette River in the west to the Sandy River in the east. CCA is committed to promoting and enhancing the viability of the Corridor, benefiting our members and the local community, and assisting in the design and implementation of regulations.
