CitySolve is a unique urban adventure!

Where brains beat brawn! Teams of 2-4 people solve clever clues and face fun challenges all while navigating the urban landscape via foot or on public transportation! It's a scavenger hunt, with all the thrills of the amazing race, mixed in with trivial pursuit, throw in a mini road race and add a dash of cat-and-mouse. And voila! You've got CitySolve Urban Race!

Online registration ends at 2 pm on Friday, June 21st.  Tickets purchased in person are $60 on Friday at packet pick-up and $65 on Saturday.


What is CitySolve Urban Race?

Ever want to be on "The Amazing Race," but can't quit your day job? Here's your chance!

CitySolve Urban Race returns to Chicago on June 21st! Teams of 2-4 will solve clues and face fun challenges and navigate the magic city, all while posing for silly photos and making friends ... or weirding out strangers along the way.  Each registration makes a donation directly to local charity.

The winning team gets $300, Second place gets $100, Third place gets $50!

Fireplace Inn was a fantastic host for CitySolve’s event, and would prove so for any similar functions for public scavenger hunts or team building activities with corporate groups.  In 2009, 100+ participants attended CitySolve, and in 2010, attendance was up to 150+ participants.   Other landmarks in Neighborhoods?  Other sponsors? In 2011 District Bar hosted us in their spacious venue located in the iconic River North neighborhood.  The River North Neighborhood is a prime area in which we take our Urban Race participants as well as an ideal location for team building events.     How many participants?  Other sponsors?  Other landmarks in Neighborhoods? 7/14/2012 - Lucky Strike (322 E Illinois St, Chicago, IL 60611) (312) 245-8331

In 2012 the upscale Lucky Strike Bowl hosted our experience at their prime Illinois St. location downtown.  Attendance reached an all time high, with 300+ participants showing up to explore the city.  Other sponsors?  Other landmarks and Neighborhoods they raced through? Activities?

In 2013, Mickey’s hosted our 5th annual Chicago Urban Race and scavenger hunt, and over 150+ participants and teams turned out to compete.  Mickey’s comfortably hosted our participants and would similarly serve corporate team building programs.  Located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, Mickey’s was convenient to public transit and landmarks, and provided scenic city views.   Other sponsors?  Other landmarks and Neighborhoods they raced through? Activities?          

6/21/2014 Kirkwood Bar and Grill (2934 N Sheffield Avenue Chicago, IL 60657)

Kirkwood Bar and Grill, a part of the four corners tavern group, is unique venue that is known as Chicago official hangout for the Indiana Pacers and Nebraska football. A perfect place for any activity, race or team building event because of the warm Chicago atmosphere that allow patrons, participants, groups and teams bond.

Sounds great, what should I bring?

1. Digital camera or camera phone

2. Pen or pencil (we commend a pen)

3. Comfortable clothes and sneakers

4. Money (about $ 5-8/per person: this will cover any incidentals along the way e.g., water, lightsnack; your team might have to buy something during the Adventure – nothing over $3)

5. Water (bring it or buy it during the race)
