The Los Angeles Philharmonic celebrates the 10th anniversary of Walt Disney Concert Hall and begins their 2013/14 season with insideOUT, a celebration of community and music that includes a free community concert at City of Hope. The LA Phil will perform Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” with special guest narrator Julie Andrews.
The concert is free of charge and open to the public, but R.S.V.P. is required for this limited seating event.
This performance was made possible by the generous support of Jack Suzar and Linda May. Additional support for the LA Phil’s Community Concerts was provided by Dudley Rauch, Wendy and Ken Ruby, Wells Fargo, Judith and Thomas Beckmen, Nancy and Donald de Brier and Thomas L. Safran.

When & Where
City of Hope
City of Hope is committed to transforming the future. As a world-renowned biomedical research, treatment and education center, we shorten the time from new research idea to new medical treatment in order to quickly bring cures to patients.
Our drive to revolutionize the treatment of cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases is based, in part, on our success. City of Hope’s compassionate care model has been adopted by hospitals across the globe, even as our research has led to synthetic human insulin, used by millions worldwide with diabetes, and to the lifesaving cancer drugs Rituxan, Avastin and Herceptin. That success is a testament to the transformative power of philanthropy.
Empowered by City of Hope supporters, our scientists and physicians quickly translate laboratory breakthroughs into groundbreaking treatments.
And our work is just beginning.
