City II: The Artwork of Errol Jacobson
Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
The artwork of Errol Jacobson explores the color, texture, and rhythm of the cities around the world in which we live. Mr. Jacobson is a long-time Chicagoan who trained at the acclaimed Palette and Chisel with notable teachers Michael Van Zyl, Scott Talman Powers, and Don Yang and at master classes around the country with David Leffel, Clayton Beck, and Michael Workman. The artwork of Mr. Jacobson balances realism and abstraction in order to create insight that captivates the viewer. By calling attention to the overlooked moments of the everyday, his paintings highlight the meaning and beauty of our world. He does so by capturing a fleeting instant through skillful manipulation of the surface of the canvas and allowing the viewer to meditate on the energetic flow of the city. We are very pleased to present a large collection of Mr. Jacobson's cityscapes to our clients. Upon seeing his intimate works in person, we are sure that you will be equally captivated and inspired.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
