Event Details
Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of county government? Who decides what roads get resurfaced? How does the landfill work? What really goes on at the jail (is black the new orange?)? How does water get to my faucet? How are new developments planned?
If you answered yes, this class is for you. Citizens Academy is an eight-week class that teaches you how things get done in the county. Everything from Animal Services to Utilities will be covered. Class meets on Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Field trips will occur on some Saturdays (dates to be determined).
