Cinco con Cinco is a comedy revolution! Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo at B.B. King Blues Club with five of New York's top comedians. Tonight's show will feature stand-up by Joe Vega, Eric Nieves, JJ Ramirez, Sara Sontreras, and Kyle Grooms.
One of the stars of The Latin Legends of Comedy, Joe Vega tours regularly with Marc Anthony and Chris Rock. He has also logged some impressive time on radio shows, trading laughts with Howard Stern and others. He has appeared on all the major comedy shows, including Comedy on the Road, Carolines, Comic Strip Live, and many others.
Eric Nieves is a veteran of Showtime at the Apollo, BET's Comic View, and HBO Latino. After starting a career as a social worker, her discovered his penchant for comedy as a competitor in an amateur contest and hasn't looked back since. In addition to his work as a comedian, he also boasts a guest spot on the television show NYPD Blue.
Another Latin Legends of Comedy star, J.J. Ramirez is affectionately known as "The Latin Lunatic." He has appeared regularly on the Howard Stern Show and has headlined many of America's best clubs. His television credits include spots on Fox's Comic Strip Live, Comedy Central, Evening at the Improv, and A&E's Comedy on the Road.
Sara Contreras, one of the stars of Showtime's The Original Latin Divas of Comedy, has also appeared on SiTV, NBC's Law & Order, New Joke City, Conviction, and Third Watch, as well as on numerous radio shows. When she can, she does pushups before her shows to ease her nerves ... although she knows that she can't fail when she hits the mike.
Best known for his hilarious half-hour stand-up special on Comedy Central and his guest appearances on VH-1, NBC's Last Comic Standing, and Chappelle's Show, Kyle Grooms has also released his own comedy album The Legend of the Jersey Devil, which was named one of iTunes' Top 100 Comedy CDs of 2009. He has been featured on P-Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, Jamie Foxx's Laffapalooza, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, The Byron Allen Show, and more.

Conveniently located in the heart of Times Square near Penn Station and Port Authority, B.B. King Blues Club & Grill offers music fans a unique experience. Owned by the Bensusan Family, proprietors of the world renowned Blue Note Jazz Club, the club features world-class musical talent and consists of two distinct spaces: the Showcase Room & Lucille’s Grill.
The breathtaking main space is classical in form and spirit: two-tiered, horseshoe-shaped seating (booths & tables) centered around a 30-foot stage presents up close and personal views of all performances. The 40-foot bar is a haven for the reserved listener. The atmosphere is enhanced with two 8-foot big video screens on either side of the stage.
