Via Vite presents a contemporary twist on classic Italian. The sibling restaurant of Nicola’s, Via Vite brings a more casual but still highly refined form of Italian cuisine to the city’s center. Perfectly situated on renovated Fountain Square, the two story steel and glass building provides easy views of all the festivities occurring on the Square. Chef Christian Pietoso, Nicola’s son, was trained in Italy and returned to run the kitchen at Nicola’s for several years before launching Via Vite. The Pietosos have established themselves in Cincinnati’s restaurant scene for their passion to their homeland’s cuisine as well as the creativity and presentation on every plate. And Via Vite has achieved a high level of success in a very short time – Cincinnati Magazine rated it the #4 best restaurant in the city in 2009. PLEASE NOTE: The evening will benefit the FreestoreFoodbank. There will be no cash donation included in the ticket price, but please bring several canned goods for a donation at the door.
