John served Western Presbyterian Church in Washington, DC for 30 years, growing it from 70 to 350 people, 2/3 under the age of 45. The church created an innovative homeless ministry called Miriam’s Kitchen. John works with congregations on congregational growth and creating strategic plans. John is the author of: The Business of the Church: The Uncomfortable Truth that Faithful Ministry Requires Effective Management.
