Church Safety Training
Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office is proud to host a “Church Safety Training” seminar for churches that are concerned about the growing amount of incursions and attacks on people at church functions.
The seminar will cover topics such as:
• How to start a Church Safety Ministry Team
• Reading The Subjects Body Language
• Working as a Team
• Defensive Maneuvers
• Subject Compliance Holds
This class will teach members of the Church Safety Ministry Team to take charge of an unruly person and escort this person out of the building without causing harm to the individual. The seminar is open and free to any church member wishing to attend.
The primary instructor for this class will be Captain Randy Creamer.

At the Anderson County Sheriff's Office we are dedicated to safeguarding the lives, property and constitutional rights of our citizens and to maintain order through a constant and visible law enforcement presence. All of our personnel are committed and compelled to the rule of law and its professionalism.
In addition to providing law enforcement services throughout the County, the Sheriff’s Office is also responsible for the operation and security of the Anderson County Detention Center which serves as the primary holding facility for all individuals arrested and jailed within Anderson County.
The Sheriff’s Office also operates the County Unified E-911 Communications Center, the Emergency Services Division, as well as Animal Control.
At the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office we are here to protect and serve all the citizens of Anderson County, SC.
