Church Leadership Series:
Friday, April 12, 2013 @ 7:00 p.m.
Ashland Theological Seminary | Columbus Campus
1900 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. | Columbus, OH 43229
The purpose of this FREE series is to equip pastors with the tools and information they need to lead the church in the current cultural matrix. This will be a panel discussion featuring two bankers, Bobbi Burba and Kelly Law, and an executive pastor of finance and administration, Kevin Kellogg. This series will equip pastors with the tools and information they need to lead the church in the current cultural matrix. Light refreshments will be provided.
The format will include some brief introductions, followed by the moderator asking for the responses of each of our panel members to three initial questions. These questions include:
1. What are the biggest challenges that churches face in seeking to balance financial planning with the faith factor in a budget?
2. What seem to be the most frequent problems related to church stewardship in contemporary American culture?
3. What potential solutions exist that might make it possible for churches to have a healthy financial portfolio in the current economy?
Once all three questions have been addressed and summarized, the moderator will ask additional questions and/or open up the floor to take questions from among the participants.
