When & Where
The Chronically Awesome Foundation
Founded in 2012 based, and based on the phenomenon of the twitter hashtag #chronicallyawesome and the WhatTheJules blogging community, The Chronically Awesome Foundation strives to cultivate and support the creative chronically awesome community of writers and artists, crafters, and artisans of all kinds to educate the public, and raise awareness about their needs, and advocate for resources to fight conditions they represent. The Chronically Awesome community is made up of individuals with Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Scleroderma, Bipolar, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Crohn’s, Chronic Fatigue/ME, Ulcerative Colitis, Raynaud’s and Sjorgens and other chronic conditions. What they all share is adherence to the credo that chronically awesome is a lifestyle choice for the chronically ill; it’s about taking the word ill our of our thinking, and being as awesome as we can be every day.
