It is estimated that although the majority of the population Americans look healthy, approximately 1 in 2 have a chronic condition. These conditions are often left undiagnosed, and can escalate to the point wherein a person’s mobility and overall quality of life may become compromised. The challenge of living with these conditions can often create overlapping problems ie. maritial difficulties, depression and financial strain. The Center for Active Learning believes that raising awareness can help alleviate these problems, and empower sufferers to implement changes that may improve their overall well being.
