Travel back in time to where the simple joys of the season abound! It is Christmas at the Mill! The miller and his wife have decked the halls with traditional greenery and twinkling lights. A charming Christmas story unfolds as you tour the mill and discover some traditions of long ago…the holly and the ivy, sugar plums, warm cider and gingerbread, roasted chestnuts, carol singing and ringing sleigh bells. Plimoth Plantation, a bicultural museum, offers powerful personal encounters with history built on thorough research about the Wampanoag People and the Colonial English community in the 1600s. Our exhibits, programs, live interpreters, and historic settings encourage a new level of understanding about present-day issues affecting communities around the world.
