Chicken School: Learn How to Dress a Chicken from Coop to Kitchen
Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Learn how to dress a chicken from coop to kitchen.
This class is hands on (or just watch) as you learn to humanely dispatch, scald, pluck, eviscerate and cut up a chicken.
Each participant will receive a young pasture raised, heritage breed rooster (dressed) to take home. Chickens eating grass and bugs along with chicken feed are the healthiest and have the best tasting meat.
Modern industrial chickens are said to endure the most inhumane treatment of all our food animals.
