The Legendary CHICKEN LITTLE is back
Bring the gang to Mid City Theatre for big laugh from this tiny chick!
With book and lyrics by Ricky Graham, music composed by Fred Palmisano and direction by Heidi Junius, this Mid City Theatre production really is a pleaser for both the young and not-so....We've got a barnyard packed with the local poultry all costumed by Linda Fried and Cecile Casey Covert (even musical director, Jim Walpole wears his piggy hat.)
Watch Piper Picus-Junius as Chicken Little, match wits and wittisims with Miles Babin as Foxy Loxy, Keith Claverie as Rooster Booster, Leslie Limberg as Foxy Roxy, Carrie Black as Turkey Lurky, Anna Toujas as Henny Penny, Natalie Boyd as Goosey Lucy and Sheila Mc Dermitt as Ducky Lucky.
There's plenty of singing and dancing as the villain, dandified Foxy Loxy, tries to bag a bird for lunch. Taking a trick from Wile E. Coyote, he hoists an anvil on a rope and drops it on Chicken Little, who is convinced the sky is falling. She alerts all her feathered friends, and everyone agrees they must seek help from their congressman. Guess who disguises himself as that elected official and ties them up as part of a plan to save them? Besides his mouthwatering haul, Loxy envisions a national chain: Foxy's Fabulous Fried Chicken. But as with Wile E., things don't go according to plan.
You'll be singing, "Cluck-cluck, gobble-gobble, honk-honk, quack!" as you go out the door.
