Science Hack Day brings together designers, developers, scientists, and other geeks in the same physical space for a brief but intense period of collaboration, hacking and building cool stuff.
For 30 hours the Adler planetarium will host teams of creative and scientific indviuals all working together in an intense burst of effort to produce fun, useful and interesting projects.
At the end of the event teams will present their hacks to a panel of judges and their peers and the best, most interesting hacks will be awarded prizes.
This year we also invite people to take part in the Space Apps Challange (https://2014.spaceappschallenge.org/). Teams globally will collaborate and engage with publicly available data to design innovative solutions for global challenges.
