Event Details

Do you have what it takes to make a game in 48 hours? IGDA Chicago is proud to host the third annual Chicago Game Jam! Some of today's hit games started life at a 48 hour game jam.

Designer, coder, sound artist? All disciplines welcome. Whether you are a student, indie, game jam veteran or other join us! Feel free to come with a team or join one on site.

Our game jam will kick off Friday with a keynote from industry legend Eugene Jarvis. The venue will reopen Saturday, and remain open overnight. Judging will take place on Sunday.

We have a limit of 40 participants so RSVP now!

Rules

  • Once the theme is given participants have 48 hours to make a game based on that theme
  • All participants must bring their own devices
  • On Sunday, each team will present their game for a panel of judges.
  • The best games of the jam will be awarded prizes
