The 5'11 international model, originally from Houston Texas, is know for her killer runway walk, striking bone structure and statuesque figure. She signed her first contract with a New York modeling agency in 2008 and booked her first ad campaign for Nike 2 weeks later. Chekesha has since appeared on numerous ad campaigns, inside magazines, on Project Runway, in commercials, infomercial, runways and tv shows. In 2012 Chekesha appeared on an NBC reality show "Escape Routes” where she did extreme challenges traveling across the country competing for cash and prizes. Chekesha has graced the pages of magazine like Seventeen, Maxim, Essence, Glamour, and VIBE. Her ad campaign credits include NIKE, Genie Bra, Milky Way, Equal Hair, and Indique Hair. She's shot commercials for Axe Shampoo and even a couple of Japanese commercials for Nikon and CoCo Juku. She has been seen regularly on Inside Edition as a featured model for the fashion trends. Chekesha's ultimate goal is to promote positivity, and boost the self-esteem in young girls. As a girl from the inner city she understands, and identifies with the obstacles that must be faced to rise above the expectations of the inner city social class. Chekesha just became the face of Palmers Cocoa Butter and will start appearing in the commercials and Ads this summer.
