Chefs Around the Table was launched last year as a new and innovative way to raise money. While the Chefs event is great fun, its real purpose is to raise money to help combat the serious problem of substance abuse in Porter County.
This unique fundraising event features 100 gentlemen "chefs" from around Porter County preparing their favorite dish for you to sample! This lighthearted cook-off also includes a competition for "Top Chef" in each category and an overall "Top Tip" award. Chefs win by the amount of tips collected in their tip jar. Be sure to vote for your favorite chef or dish by placing your dollars in their tip jar!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes! You must print out your tickets and bring them with you to the event. You can also purchase tickets in person at the Porter County Community Foundation Offices - 1401 Calumet Avene, Valapraiso IN 46383.

Tipping is now open and online, you can start to tip your favorite Chefs by visiting the EMPOWER Porter County website.
EMPOWER Porter County was founded by the Porter County Community Foundation to be the catalyst to move our community to collaboratively work to reduce substance abuse throughout our communities.
