Join Chef & OPEX Software for an evening of discussions centered around DevOps. These sessions have a history of great discussions with elite speakers & core members from the Chef community. You will have an opportunity to interact with prominent members and discuss potential implemetations of Chef with your peers. We would love to welcome both - new and experienced Chef users.

Session Abstract:
Much has been said around the concepts of DevOps, but most of the conversation often confuses rather than helps people understand what DevOps means. This talk will focus on how Development and Operations can change the way they work to provide a more harmonious and productive way to work and increase the effectiveness of an IT organization.

About the Speakers:

Michael Ducy
Michael Ducy currently works as an Enterprise Architect for Chef focused on designing and implementing automation solutions for customer's Cloud, IT Automation and Continuous Delivery needs.
Arne Gallagher
Arne Gallagher currently works at Chef and manages global partner alliances.  With over 20 years of high-tech experience, Arne has helped companies grow into new markets as they expand their footprint throughout the world.  

Ken Cheney
Ken Cheney is currently VP of Business Development at Chef.  As a seasoned high-tech and startup Executive, Ken has led the incredible growth at Chef.  Ken is in charge of strategic partnerships at Chef, including AWS, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Wipro, HCL and Rackspace.

Sanju Burkule

Sanju Burkule has a unique combination of business understanding and technical acumen. Prior to founding Opex Software, Sanju was involved in building cutting edge products in BMC Software for 10+ years. Sanju has focused on Server Monitoring and Server automation, integrated configuration and compliance, plus policy based automation across physical, cloud and hybrid environments. Under his guidance, Opex Software has been growing significantly since its inception.

Ajay Dhake

Ajay Dhake specializes in business development and product engineering in IT Infrastructure Automation space. Prior to this, he co-founded Unix21 Systems, developing innovative private cloud based capabilities. After working in Intel (US) for 14 years, he held several senior roles in Indian service based companies such as KPIT Cummins, Mindtree and Disha Technologies. Along with his BE from PICT (1st Rank in Univ) and a MS (Computer Science) from State Univ of New York, Ajay (a JN Tata scholar) also holds a US design patent in the VLSI Micro controller domain
