Technical conferences are a great way to interact with technical people and get energized to do some awesome things! Kick off your arrival at LinuxCon with Chef demos and a hack session hosted by Solutions Architect, Matt Stratton, and Software Engineer, Sean O'Meara.
We'll start off with an expedited review of some of the basics in the morning, as well as demos of some of the newest parts of the Chef ecosystem, including Chef Metal, ChefDevelopment Kit, Chef Actions, and Test Kitchen.
After lunch, we'll hack the afternoon away, so be sure to bring any questions, conundrums, and domain problems, as well as ideas and enthusiasm! Matt & Sean will help guide you, answer questions, and hack along with you to help your mini-project succeed.
The day will wrap-up with some quick demos of the progress everyone has made.
If you have the evening free as well, be sure to join us for the Testing Cookbooks meetup starting at 5:30.
Thanks to 10th Magnitude for graciously providing the accommodation space at TechNexus.
Food and drinks provided. We hope to see you there!
**This event is appropriate for both those new to Chef and experienced Chef users. If you have not used Chef we recommend you visit learnchef.com to learn more about Chef and install the software before attending the event.
