Charlotte Observer Tailgate Party: Former Carolina Players Talk Playoffs
Friday, January 10, 2014 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (EST)
This event is powered by OrthoCarolina.
Here's a great way to get ready for Sunday's big game at Bank of America Stadium: Talk playoffs with former Carolina players Mike Rucker, Mark Carrier, and Eugene Robinson, as well as Observer sports columnist Scott Fowler and WBTV's Sports Director Delano Little.
This free event, sponsored by OrthoCarolina, starts at 11:30 inside The Charlotte Observer. We'll serve up pizza and drinks from Papa John's, and the guys will take the stage from noon-1 p.m. The players will be available for autographs before and after, and Scott will be selling his newest book, "100 Things Panther Fans Should Know and Do Before They Die."
During the hour-long chat, you'll get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of life as a pro football player and in-depth analysis of the team's chances in its first playoff game since 2008. You'll even be able to ask your own questions throughout the program.
And if that's not enough, all attendees will get a special poster featuring Charlotte Observer sports fronts from throughout the season! (Additional copies will be available for sale for $5.)
The event is free, but registration is required. Space is limited.
Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Observer parking lot on the corner of Poplar and Stonewall streets, one block from the event. Street parking is also available.
In order to purchase these tickets in installments, you'll need an Eventbrite account. Log in or sign up for a free account to continue.
