Mongerson Gallery is pleased to announce Charles McGee: At 90, an exhibition of recent works by Charles McGee that presents the latest discoveries in his seventy-year career journey to explore “what is art.” Utilizing modern materials and methods, McGee draws on his past explorations to create works that define contrast, balance, and energy – themes that have been constant in his practice.
The public is invited to an opening reception with the artist on Friday, September 19th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the gallery in the John Hancock building, 875 N Michigan Avenue, Suite 2520, Chicago, IL 60611.
The exhibition will be on view at Mongerson Gallery from September 19 – November 21, 2014 during gallery hours. Accompanying the exhibition will be an illustrated catalogue available in digital and print versions. Please inquire for additional information.
