CharityOkie is karaoke for a cause. This year TYPros will host three CharityOkie events to raise money for the 2013 community partner, The Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa.
The first CharityOkie event absolutely rocked; great times were had by all and we raised a significant amount of cash for AHCT. Join us at the second CharityOkie of the year held at Fassler Hall downtown. Every note you sing (or scream or squawk) can win you a prize but the ultimate reward is raising money for the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa and I bet we can raise more than the first. Be sure to swing by for a song or two - it's always free to sing and we'll have hundreds in prizes!
How do we raise money at a karaoke event if it's free to sing and there's no cover? Well, let us explain: C-notes, CharityOkie money, will be available for purchase (pay with cash or credit) for a variety of entertaining reasons. You can use C-notes to "gong" someone off stage, you can use C-notes to vote for your favorite performers; check out the full list of purchase options below:
Seriously, you're going to be here anyway. Be a dear and volunteer.
In order to raise as much money as possible for AHCT we organize CharityOkie with the help of many volunteers. We need outgoing folks to help with song sign-ups, C-note sales and more; sign up for a spot by emailing subcrew leader, Stephanie Cameron, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The mission of Tulsa's Young Professionals is to attract and retain young talent in the Tulsa metro region while also establishing Tulsa’s next generation of business and community leaders.
In order to purchase these tickets in installments, you'll need an Eventbrite account. Log in or sign up for a free account to continue.
