No cover | Hundreds in prizes
CharityOkie karaoke is a recurring fundraising event for the annual TYPros community partner. Proceeds this year go to the 2014 partner, the Tulsa Zoo.
Whether you want to sing or not, CharityOkie karaoke is one of the city’s most entertaining fundraising events.
Attendees can buy “C-notes” to “gong” singers off stage or, if the singer is good or funny enough, vote for them as their favorite singer. But don’t worry— it goes both ways; singers can use C-notes to prevent being gonged (full rules here).
Every note you sing gives you a chance to win a prize, with hundreds of dollars in prizes available. And the more you sing, the more money goes to TYPros’community partner, the Tulsa Zoo, which will get proceeds from the event.
Volunteer to help: TYPros needs outgoing folks to help with song sign-ups, C-note sales and more; sign up for a spot by emailing Keonte Carter.
