}Why: Cancer affects everyone. Many often think that it will not happen to them and that it’s an older woman’s illness. But it’s not. 1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed and some will not have insurance to take care of the mounting expenses. If we empower each other; help each other to “Charge UP” by learning and “UNDERSTANDING PREVENTATIVE MEASURES” & Charge PYNK” by using the POWERS we hold to engage our YOUTH, Embrace our NETWORKS and spread the KNOWLEDGE; with this we can save lives!
}Goal: SCE hopes to help save lives by encouraging everyone, young and old, male and female to be aware of cancers, and seek preventative measures. Our goal is to celebrate the lives of men and women who have battled or battling cancer and honor them for their pushing through the fight. Our goal is to also provide encouraging information, resources and positive support to families of uninsured Breast Cancer Patients by supporting nonprofit organization, The Breast Cancer Survivors’ Network. Stipends will be provided to nonprofit and a family undergoing treatment
