During the fall semester, 91 undergraduate and graduate students took on a total of 21 nonprofit consulting projects at the University of Maryland, Georgetown, George Washington, and Johns Hopkins University. During this time students tackled business consulting challenges such as creating university campus marketing plans, five-year strategic plans, financial models focused on sustainable revenue generation, and measuring programmatic outcomes. Students worked with nonprofits from across the country, and on this evening will have the opportunity to showcase their work!
ChangeTheWorld.org Social Venture Consulting Program matches talented undergraduate and graduate students with nonprofit organizations in semester-long project-based consulting partnerships. The program is designed to help entrepreneurial, high-potential nonprofit organizations to increase their organizational capacity by providing them with direct access to pro-bono business consulting.
Since 2006, the program – led by the Center For Social Value Creation (CSVC) at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business in partnership with Grassroots.org – has served more than 145 organizations and engaged over 350 students in 8 partner universities. By connecting our future business leaders with social impact organizations that need consulting services, we believe that we can change the world for the better – one student and one non-profit at a time.
We have limited seats available, so please reserve your spot now.
