In November 2013, NYC will elect its next mayor. The Junior Board of Advocates for Children and NYU Law's Education Law and Policy Society invite you to attend a panel discussion on the potential changes to education policy that a new administration may bring. Panelists will touch on matters including the new teacher evaluation system, school closures, charter schools, and the future of mayoral control. Kim Sweet, the Executive Director of Advocates for Children, will moderate the discussion.

The Education Law and Policy Society is committed to improving education, with a particular emphasis on public education in the United States. Ed Law strives to prepare NYU Law students to be leaders in the education reform movement by providing opportunities to work towards ensuring high-quality education for all students, connecting NYU Law students with practitioners working in education law and policy, and informing the NYU community about current issues in education reform.
