CFR Luncheon: "Ending the Practice of Child Marriage"

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) Religion and Foreign Policy Initiative invites you to attend a luncheon conversation on “Ending the Practice of Child Marriage” featuring Rachel Vogelstein. Ms. Vogelstein is a fellow in the Women and Foreign Policy Program at CFR and an adjunct professor of women's human rights at Georgetown University. Ruth Messinger, president of the American Jewish World Service, will moderate. Ms. Messinger and Ms. Vogelstein will discuss the religious and social challenges to ending child marriage, as well as consider the moral and strategic imperatives for abolishing the practice. The luncheon conversation will take place in the Maryland Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore, connected by skywalk to the Baltimore Convention Center.
