GSU’s CENCIA and Rialto Center for the Arts and the French Consulate General Atlanta as part of France-Atlanta 2013 present Aimé Césaire’s Notebook of a Return to My Native Land, directed and interpreted by Jacques Martial. Performed in French with English subtitles; translation by Timothy Greacen.
Martial is the founder of the Compagnie de la Comédie Noire, which aims to encourage the presence of people from visible minorities in the living arts by creating, producing, promoting and diffusing cultural events.
