Agnesian HealthCare Journeys: a health resource center's Centering through Art program focuses on creating art for self-reflection and relaxation. Participants are introduced to art techniques and ideas are demonstrated to give everyone a successful start to the creative process. Join Lynn Genz and Sarah Drake-Ricart, Agnesian HealthCare registered art therapists, as they share unique ways that art can create personally meaningful opportunities for self-expression and relaxation.
This four-week session focuses on creating handmade paper. Using recycled paper pulps and experimenting with personal additives to the process, participants will create handmade paper. Printmaking and photo transfer techniques will be demonstrated toward creating a finished paper collage.
Class dates include Mondays, October 10 to 31.
