Jason Farrell – Azure Mobile Services
Jason has been working as a consultant for the better part of a decade and has held a variety of roles across a range of projects. Currently, Jason is a Senior Staff Consultant working out of Centare’s Chicago office where he focuses on solutions using mobile, web, and client side technologies. An avid participant in the development community, Jason can regularly be found attending and speaking at local user groups. He also speaks nationally at larger events like That Conference, DevLink, and St. Louis Days of .NET.
David Manske – What’s New in Visual Studio 2013
David is a Team Lead and Scrum Master in Centare’s Agile Software Delivery practice. Over the past decade, David has been instrumental in delivering enterprise-class web applications on a variety of technology-stacks in the Manufacturing, Transportation, Education, Insurance and Entertainment industries. David’s strong Software Engineering background is complimented by his proficient business acumen which makes him a highly effective leader at bridging the communication gap between business goals and software development teams.
Michael Weinand – Unit Testing
Michael is a Scrum Master in Centare’s Agile Software Delivery practice. He has been delivering web applications for over 7 years and recently been recognized as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer. He has focused on Microsoft technologies, particularly on improving quality through SOLID principles and Unit Testing. Michael is also responsible for the technical curriculum for the Centare Apprenticeship Program.
Gary Pedretti – Cross Functional Teams; The Testing Pyramid
Gary Pedretti is a Scrum trainer and coach, application architect, and software developer. With fifteen years’ experience in technology and processes, he helps companies achieve their goals of delivering business value through software. In 2006, he took a class on Scrum with Ken Schwaber. Since then Gary has worked to evangelize Scrum and Agile frameworks. He sees these frameworks as a natural outgrowth of the lessons learned in the software industry, including the lessons he has personally learned. He is a strong believer in the “see one, do one, teach one” road to craft and mastery, which led him to the role of Professional Scrum Trainer for Scrum.org. He blogs at http://www.GaryPedretti.com
