The Greater Milford Area Historical Society’s walking tour at Greenlawn Cemetery will take place on Sunday, October 9 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The walk will shed light on the histories of some of Milford's most significant residents who now reside below-ground. Expect to see beautiful and aged monuments, and hear compelling stories. The event will be a wealth of information not only for Milford residents, but lovers of history throughout the area. Cost is $10 per person if tickets are purchased in advance, and $15 on the day of the event. Tickets may be purchased online or in person at the Promont House.
The Promont House is an exquisite one-of-a-kind Victorian mansion circa 1865 and the former home of John M. Pattison, Ohio's 43rd Governor. It is currently owned and operated by the Greater Milford Area Historical Society, whose mission is to collect, preserve, interpret and promote the history of the Milford area.

The Greater Milford Area Historical Society is located in the Promont House Museum in Milford Ohio. The Promont is a beautiful Victorian Italianate mansion owned by Ohio's 43rd Governor, John Pattison. Proceeds from this event help to maintain this mansion and the activities of the Society.
