We are planning a special event to commemorate AVANCE’s 40th Anniversary of serving families on Saturday September 13, 2014 from 6:30pm - 10:30pm at San Antonio Central Library.
More than just another fundraising dinner, this celebration will be a journey through time featuring exhibits highlighting how far AVANCE and its families have come. From a handwritten curriculum on recipe cards to a national organization with sites in eight states, AVANCE has empowered thousands of families across the country.
Join us for our VIP reception from 5:30-6:30pm to enjoy drinks and upgraded appetizers plus mingling with local and national supporters of AVANCE!
AVANCE, a nationally-recognized nonprofit, believes that a program providing culturally appropriate parenting education and community building coupled with early childhood development services to hard-to-reach families can change the trajectory of children’s lives. AVANCE has been living the mission of Unlocking America’s Potential by strengthening families in at-risk communities through effective parent education and support programs since 1973.
The event sponsorship opportunities are designed to give organizations and individuals enhanced visibility among guests and partners and provide a number of marketing benefits throughout the year. With your help, AVANCE can build the foundation for the next 40 years!

When & Where
AVANCE is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, community-based organization that works not only to advocate for parents, but also to mentor parents so they can effectively navigate social systems and become leaders themselves. In addition, AVANCE actively engages local school districts and legislators to promote an agenda for early childhood education and support services for low-income parents. The initial intervention that begins with the family serves as a catalyst for a far-reaching ripple effect of greater community change.
