To help commemorate the 20th anniversary of Great Outdoors Colorado this fall, GOCO collaborated with award-winning nature photographer John Fielder on the development of two books featuring Lottery-funded places and resources throughout the state.
For nearly two years, Fielder traveled 35,000 miles across Colorado, photographing Lottery-funded land and amenities in all 64 counties and nearly every city and town. This yielded John Fielder’s Guide to Colorado’s Great Outdoors: Lottery-funded Parks, Trails, Wildlife Areas & Open Spaces and the hard-cover picture-book, Colorado’s Great Outdoors: Celebrating 20 Years of Lottery-funded Lands.
John Fielder will donate 30% of the sales of his books at the event to local land protection efforts.
