Celebrate the Art of Teaching
CTL Spa Day III
Faculty and staff from all disciplines are invited to partake in the celebration of exiciting ideas, best practices, and lessoned learned from the AY 2012-2013. Presentations from faculty and staff will connect with the work of all campus community members.
Dean Christine Mangino, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, will kick off the morning with a brief talk about what it means to be an effective teacher at Hostos.
Provost Carmen Coballes-Vega, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, share insights on division accomplishments and future directions as she joins us for lunch.
President Felix Matos Rodriguez, President Hostos Community College, will kick off the PSC-CUNY grants reception planned for the successful faculty from AY 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
Presenters in the break-out sessions include faculty from all of the disciplines and reach into the academic program and initaitives such as Office of Educational Technology (EdTech) and across the divisions into Career Services in the division of Student Development and Enrollment Management (SDEM) and the Department of Public Safety.
