Celebrate Spring and Local Food with AFSC-SENE
Friday, April 25, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Celebrate spring and local food with us! Bring seeds or baby plants to share while we have dessert in the downstairs of the Meeting House, then join us upstairs for an overview of some of the groups in the area that are doing work on food security and food justice. What are food hubs? What is urban gardening and what is happening here? Who decides food policy? What other economic models are out there around food and local economy? What does this have to do with AFSC's work on shared security?
