On Sunday, November 2, 2014, the DeWitt Clinton High School community will come together for a special memorial tribute to Coach Joseph Prezioso. During his 35-year tenure at Clinton, the coach encouraged, prodded and helped a generation of athletes and students to pursue the dream of higher education. “Coach Prez” urged his players to uphold the PDQ philosophy: PRIDE in themselves, DETERMINATION to never give up and the expectation of QUALITY in all they did. This inspiring motto of PDQ is still a beacon for today’s DWC students, teachers and staff preparing for success. Although he passed away in 2004, we will always remember him as an outstanding role model and leader who exemplified our school’s spirit and rich tradition of achievement.
Hosted by the DeWitt Clinton Alumni Association, Celebrate Clinton! will connect curent students, alumni, families, friends and staff in activities sharing our collective school spirit!
FIELD DEDICATION CEREMONY & HOMECOMING GAME
Ceremony: 11:00am, Kickoff Time: 12:00pm; DWCHS Football Field
Cheer on the DWC Governors as they take on the Lehman HS Lions.
Prior to the game, be in the stands as we dedicate Joseph Prezioso Alumni Field and the Bronx Borough President's Office officially proclaims November 2nd as "Joseph Prezioso Day!"
Don't miss the presentation during half-time of the first-ever "PDQ Award for Outstanding Athletics Leadership" to a current athletics department leader --Coach Cornel Johnson-- who has exemplified the PDQ values and has continually strived to instill them in his students.

Donations are tax-deductible (less $40.00 per ticket for the value of goods and services received) and support the DWC Scholarship and Student Aid Fund, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions will support either the general fund, or donors may designate that their gifts be used to establish and support the Joseph Prezioso Athletics Fund to underwrite educational aid for scholar athletes and to support equipment and facility improvements for DWC athletic programs.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
For security purposes, a photo ID is required. There are no age restrictions. However, please note that the majority of attendees will be adult alumni and other guests, as well as some DWC students.
Is parking available?
Yes, free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Enter the lot entrance on Paul Avenue.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You may not bring weapons of any type or alcoholic beverages to either the Dedication Ceremony/Game or the Benefit.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Please carefully select your registration type before making your purchase. Registration types for this event are not transferrable.
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, you may update your registration information by going to "My Tickets," selecting your order, then edit and save your changes. We encourage you to make any changes (particularly to your guest names) prior to the event to avoid any confusion or delays during the event check-in process.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We encourage you to "go green" and not print your ticket. A master guest list will be available at the check-in table.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are not available. If you are not able to attend, you are welcome to designate your ticket(s) for DWC student(s). Otherwise, your gift will be a fully tax-deductible donation.
Founded in 1900, the DeWitt Clinton Alumni Association is the guardian of the school’s rich history and traditions. Support from the Alumni Association includes scholarships awarded to graduating seniors, leadership weekends for students, and grants for school programs and activities, made possible through the generous contributions of alumni, foundations and corporations.
