CEA Great Ideas Workshop
The Independent—From Surviving to Thriving
Wednesday, September 5, 1-3 p.m. EDT
Indianapolis Convention Center Meeting Room 243
This workshop drills down on 50 basic elements of sound business practice that are critical to the success of today’s independent retailer and CI. These 50 were compiled from years of experience, including observations from those who are successful and those who were not. Overlooking any of these items could lead to less effective performance for your operation. You will be asked to self-rate your business. Integrated solutions will result from discussion and exchange of best practices amongst the participants.
Otto Papasadero has an extensive marketing and business background as a retailer, consultant and buying group CEO. He is currently Executive Director for the North American Retail Dealers Association (NARDA).
These free CEA-hosted workshops are for dealers, CIs and integrators—anyone selling and/or installing consumer electronics. You don’t even need to be a CEA member to attend.
These workshops are an excellent opportunity to interact with experts and industry colleagues to exchange ideas and discuss solutions that work. It’s like having free access to business consultants.
If you sell products and carry inventory, you should attend. We’ll be tackling “Owners’ Issues.” Owners, presidents and CEOs, COOs, GMs, any senior management with fiscal and inventory responsibility are invited. Strategy and tactics will be discussed.
Many dealers and CIs have requested that meetings like this be held at industry events they are already attending. If you’re not already attending Expo, this is another reason to attend.
There is no charge to register online or onsite (advance registration on this site is preferred).
One dealer principal who attended a recent Great Ideas Meeting said, “I wish I had brought all fifteen of my top management here to hear this.”
