Hoarding: The New Challenge for Restoration (2 hours) - Both Iowa & Illinois
The Restoration Continuing Education Course provides an overview of the process of restoring damaged contents after a fire/water loss and the new challenges the insurance agents, adjusters, and property managers have with hoarding.
After completing the course the licensee should have knowledge of information they can use to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the policy holder, and to reduce the cost for restoration and understand the added liability with hoarding. Knowledge of restoration processes that can reduce the loss severity and aid in the disbursement of the personal property limitations relating to actual cash and reimbursement costs.
