What if I cannot attend?
We want to encourage all who can arrange their schedules to join us at Cypress Creek Christian Church so that we can worship, study, learn and fellowship together. For those who cannot attend the Regional Assembly, we are planning to offer a video of the Sunday afternoon worship service, so donations to the Southwest Region would be gratefully accepted to underwrite the cost of the Regional Assembly and/or any associated technology costs.
When & Where
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest
In response to God's call in Jesus Christ "to become the Gospel, to share the Gospel and to serve in mission from our doorsteps to the ends of the earth," the mission of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest is to be a source of vision, nurture, wholeness and mutual accountability in order to serve and to strength congregations.
The Southwest Region is comprised of eight geographic areas with Disciples gathered in New Mexico, Texas, the panhandle of Oklahoma and Liberal, Kansas. Ministry happens in 390 congregations, as well as in those eight areas and - for some things - throughout the WHOLE region.
