CCOF invites you to join us in exploring “Farming the Urban Edge,” the theme of our 2014 Annual Meeting and Bus Tour on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. At the CCOF Annual Meeting, we will update members on the year’s accomplishments and provide opportunities for feedback. The meeting will also feature keynote speaker Dr. Rachel Surls, who will present on the history of agriculture in Los Angeles. The educational bus tour will feature three southern California CCOF-certified organic farms as well as Tezozomoc, CCOF farmer, who will speak on the bus tour about the inspiring story of the South Central Farmers’ Cooperative. The day will end with a reception featuring beer, wine, and food from organic producers throughout California and a special celebrity chef demonstration using organic ingredients.
