The Only Camp that Prepares for College and Financing It
This 3-day summer camp for 9th-12th grade students is designed to encourage early college and job preparation. Teen camp attendees will experience a consultant-led and web-based learning experience. Gain exposure to college options through a mini college fair. Meet guest speakers from different career fields. Explore the best jobs for college students, play games, and receive giveaways held at national entertainment center, Dave & Buster's.
Teen Camp Agenda:
Day One- (July 16th)
Teens participate in web-based lecture, video, and activities that focus on skills that lead to academic and career success. Includes an ebook, "Preparing for College and Financing It." (home study)
Day Two- (July 17th)
Teens complete additional online or computer based activities (home study).
Day Three- (July 18th)
11:00 a.m. Arrival and registration at Dave & Buster's ( students only)
11:30 a.m. Meet & Greet session (guest speakers and students)
12:00 p.m. Teen Lunch
1:00 p.m. Student learning activities & games for prizes (3 challenges)
2:00 p.m. Meet & Greet session (guest speakers and students)
3:00 p.m. College fair *
5:30 p.m. Student game time (courtesy of Dave & Buster's)
Cost to Attend & Registration
Early Teen Camp Registration Deadline: July 6, 2013 ($60/teen)
Teen Registration Deadline: July 15, 2013 ($110/teen after July 6th)
College Admissions Representative Registration Deadline: July 12, 2013
