Girl Rising

Please join Helene Gayle, President and CEO of CARE, for an exclusive Atlanta showing of Girl Rising.

Girl Rising is a ground breaking film, directed by Academy Award nominee Richard Robbins, which tells the stories of 9 extraordinary girls from 9 countries, written by 9 celebrated writers and narrated by 9 renowned actresses. Girl Rising showcases the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world.

Many millions of girls face barriers to education that boys do not. We can help break  those barriers by bringing global attention to the enormous benefits of educating girls. Atlanta is a great place to start!

The film will be followed by a brief yet engaging discussion featuring:

Helene Gayle, President and CEO of CARE

Martha Adams, Creative Director for Girl Rising

Lisa Borders, President of the Grady Health Foundation and recently appointed Vice President of Global Community Connections for The Coca-Cola Company and Chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation

Refreshments will be served from 6:00pm-6:30pm. The film begins at 6:30pm.

This is a complimentary event and we look forward to having you join us!

Please RSVP above by Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
