Capital Region 101 offers newcomers a way to quickly learn about the Baton Rouge area and a chance to meet current residents and newcomers. The half-day event includes presentations by regional leaders, a brief bus tour, and the opportunity to win prizes.
The half-day event includes presentations by regional leaders, a brief trolley tour around downtown and the surronding areas with a final stop at the Red Stick Farmer’s Market, an opportunity to ask questions of residents, and networking opportunities with other new residents. Anyone new to the Baton Rougea area is invited to attend and admission is free.
