Capital Public Radio, as part of its ongoing fundraising efforts, is developing a new set of materials to tell the CPR story to potential donors in the community. A key component of this process is obtaining important input from our diverse constituencies. By tapping into a range of experience and expertise, we believe that we will be able to develop a more effective case for support.
To obtain this input, we are conducting a series of focus groups at our studios throughout the day on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The objectives of the focus groups are to identify:
Community needs and benefits—what gaps CPR seeks to fill and what value the community derives from having CPR providing programs/services
CPR’s core competencies—those things that CPR does the best
CPR’s differentiation—those factors that make CPR special or unique
Community connections—personal stories that give CPR a “face” in the community
We would like to invite you to participate in a focus group. Each of the 90-minute focus group sessions will include 12 participants and will be facilitated by Rebecca Moore, who is helping guide our case development process. Each session will be held at Capital Public Radio.
